Double Roses

In her photographs, Louise Honée tries to understand what links a territory to its inhabitants. She captures the feelings expressed by the inhabit young people and tries to define the way in which their personality takes shape in relation to their environment. Double Roses transposes this questioning to the colorful landscapes of a small region of the Hautes-Alpes, which offers an abundant nature where shadows and lights occupy large spaces and delimit preserved spaces. Children grow up in freedom, surrounded by trees, wild plants and animals. In a photographic writing of pure and elegant black and white, Louise Honée traveled the paths to meet the young inhabitants, seeking to delicately capture moments of ordinary life.
